Upcoming Gigs!
So as many of you know, I’ve joined forces with singer/songwriter Andy Jobe and violin/guitar/piano player extraordinaire Ryan Guerra to form… well… we haven’t exactly been able to come up with a name yet. We’re kind of waiting for lightening to strike and tell us what our band name should be, but thus far we got nuthin.
But we sound GREAT! And we’ve got several gigs coming up in the next few months-
April 12th, Winegasm, 9pm
April 22nd, Wake Forest Coffee Company, 8pm
May 6th, Lucky Mojo’s, 1130pm
May 25th, LIC Bar, 9pm

iTunes baby!
The album is now for sale on iTunes!!
The good thing about my songs being up on iTunes (other than the fact that everyone has an iTunes account) is that the songs are actually uploaded in the iTunes Plus format- that means that they’re encoded at a higher quality than the standard mp3 format, and they also have less restrictions- you know how you can’t usually share your purchased music with more than 5 registered computers? well iTunes Plus lets you share the music however you want, so pirate away!
No but seriously though, its important for me right now to get the music out to as many people as possible, so if you want to download the music through iTunes and share it with all of your friends then I’m just glad to have more people listening. Hopefully they’ll like it so much that they’ll buy their own copy…
Album now available on eMusic!
Devil On My Shoulder is now available through eMusic.com!
Here’s a little blurb about eMusic from their own website…
“eMusic is a digital entertainment retailer focused on serving customers aged 25 and older. The service offers a vast selection of independent music and audio books in a universally compatible file format at great value. eMusic is the world’s largest retailer of independent music and the world’s second-largest digital music retailer overall, with more than 3.5 million tracks from over 27,000 independent labels and more than 2,000 titles from top audio book publishers.”
Basically you pay for a monthly subscription and they’ll give you a set amount of downloads for that month, so you end up paying way less for music as long as you use up all of your download credits for that month- if you’re a music junkie this is great way to go…
But like I’ve said before, if you have the opportunity its always better to get the actual CD!
No, seriously. When files are converted to mp3 through itunes and music services like eMusic, its great b/c they’re compatible with your ipod and phone and all your other fancy digital devices- BUT- there really is a sacrifice in the quality of the sound. If you really wanna hear how the artist wants you to hear their music, its best to buy their physical CD. More and more independent artists are becoming seriously involved in the recording process and you wouldn’t believe how much time and money they spend on getting their music to sound just right…
But services like iTunes are terrific for instant gratification and they allow you to at least sample the goods before you commit to buying the CD, and eMusic sounds like a truly affordable way for those audiophiles to dig in.
old posts from website…
So I’m switching things up a bit- trying to keep my blogging to an actual blog site rather than tainting my own website with it;)
Here are the old posts from www.NeeleyBridges.com
I know they’re oh so interesting, but I’ve never been the type who can throw anything away…
Til then you can find the CD on sale at the Wake Forest Coffee Company on South White Street downtown- I’m working on getting the CD up for sale on the internet so stay tuned (or email me and we can work something out!).
